Non-waterproofing company attempt at exterior waterproofing a wall and window well.
This photo was taken just before back fill. Do you think water will find its way around those enormous gaps??
Not the best solution for this particular home, every home is different. But this is a truly poor installation job.
Expensive, yet ineffective.

This basement floor had a nonstop seepage problem.

2 year old drainage pipe from an improperly installed system.

Cheap and poorly installed sump pump into a solid concrete well. Flooding, crickets, bad smell. The pump was very loud.
Bilco door access outside leaking into basement.Flooded surrounding area.
Sump pump failure caused basement to flood from well. Door drain over ran.

Siding used to dam water to well. This did not work. Resulted in flooding. The painted blocks flaked and clogged siding drain.

This townhouse basement leaked across an adjoining wall. This is a very common occurrence in townhouses that have tiered foundations.
My thanks to Anthony and Basement Detectives for the quick response yesterday evening! And additional thanks for their honesty and integrity!

Basement had foundation overpour -this was a grading issue. The soil outside was more 1.5 ft above the top of the foundation wall.

Common foundation seepage in a poured concrete wall joint. This basement had random small water leaks. Guess how high the water stood outside this wall…
